I’ve been in Stockholm this week at a big, overwhelming conference about the meta-crisis. A big thank you to the Melbourne-based Small Giants crew who sorted tickets for me and allowed me to join them at various meals and extra side events. I’ll share some top-line stuff here if I get a moment (next post) and via some podcasts going forward. For now, I’ll just say there are some heartening conversations going on out there, my friends! And, also, that everyone is startled by the reality (truth>hope) of life now (it’s not just you!). I’ve just come from sitting in a park with one of the most powerful voices in energy systems. We sat on the ground and looked at each other and just hugged.
The conference and attendant overwhelm is also why this post is a little late (I commit to frequency and care, just not always timeliness).
Right. So this chapter I’m sharing today picks up on another trend that emerged from that same liminal time between the wars as described in last week’s post.
