So glad you're continuing this thoughtful and satiating newsletter! I genuinely love reading your thoughts and the comments and conversation threads from fellow subscribers :)
Happy anniversary, dear Sarah. Bloody marvellous, my friend. And let's raise a glass for year 2.
Thank you for your ongoing courage to push boundaries, to learn so much new stuff and summarise it where appropriate for we peeps and most of all, for your compassionate heart and love for all manner of creation great and small and things(?) that matter.
Thanks Sarah for your continued effort to not only inform all of issues of concern, but seek out joy, love and spreading gratitude.
The more gratitude the world can muster the more urgent they may become about protecting the wonderful planet we have.
The bigger the conversation, the bigger the potential outcome. Starting that in a positive way instead of negative hopefully persuades some people to lower defences and any self interest to realise we are all essentially the same humans. Love and happiness overide everything else.
I’m late to join you here so and I’m thrilled you’re continuing. Your writing and the comments here together with your podcast help me be braver, ask better questions, be more discerning and more curious. I love the reciprocity of the subscription model. :)
Dear Sarah. Thank you for the shoutout in your message. Although I like to fly under the radar, I'd like to note that you are an inspiration to me with your bold and courageous conversations. ♥ ♥ ♥
So glad to have found Substack I’ve been away from social media but missing these interactions thanks Sarah so great to have a more curated space for important conversations. Like you say somewhere (I think) we have lost the magic of our third spaces bumping into strangers and chatting, lovely to have that intention here.
Thanks Sarah for all the time and energy you put into your work. I felt instantly to be a paid subscriber as I tune in without fail to every WILD podcast as it drops and I know all the things take a lot to produce and keep putting out into the world.
I don’t enter discussions much to date but I’m so grateful . I hope you continue to get more paid support . You’re such an important voice.
Had lunch with my gorgeous 80 year old Dad the other day who mentioned the latest podcast episode. He now listens to WILD as well 😁
Hi Sarah, I’m going to write an article about substack for a NZ mag - would you consider being interviewed?? I hear you about the migration to a place where there is more respect and a whole lot more content going on. Social media is a vicious time-stealer. Keep going! Love your work!
Congratulations on your one year anniversary, Sarah, and thanks so much for the lovely shout-out in your message. :) It’s been such a privilege to be part of this wonderful, engaged community and I’m really pleased to hear that you plan to direct more of your focus here – it does feel increasingly like Substack is a much nicer place to have these conversations than most other platforms. I hope many more people subscribe as well, with an appreciation for your generosity and sharing. x
Happy birthday Sarah and please keep going, this newsletter is one of my weekly highlights! Just listened to your pod with Jennifer - so good and so much to unpack as always. Learnt a lot from this one and humbled by her intelligence and generosity. We need more lawyers like her. These are my kind of conversations.
Thanks also for signing my books on the weekend. Hope you found the Camels Hump 😊 Best, Chloe
A year! I’m thinking back to how much you’ve planted - ideas, questions, lines in the sand, love into your friendships, old and new. Thank you for letting us play!
Congratulations on 1 year! I’m glad to be here. I’ve wanted more off-social-media places to engage, and I love that you’re making that happen!
