I’m writing this from the Blue Mountains where I’m hiking with a bunch of mates. I found this incredible house in Leura that can house 8-10 people, if you happen to be looking for such a thing. I mean, the view…but also a lot of incredibly special touches, like luxe linen and decor that has seen the place featured in various interiors mags.
It’s at the start of a bunch of the walks out of Leura/Katoomba and walking distance from the train station.
And here’s my crew of closests. We did three big hikes. A lot of laughing and hummous.
Ok.. into some Sunday Things.
Watch: This answer to everything (it’s glorious)
Partha Dasgupta is a Cambridge University economist who in 2021 wrote a 600-page report for the British government about the financial value of nature. Partha explains that the concept of GDP requires the destruction of nature. The New York Times felt Partha and his work deserved a quirky visual ode.
Seriously, this is the most delightful five minutes you can spend this weekend.
