When I started talking about collapse 20 years ago , I was dismissed as a doomer , now it seems I am a realist.

I always planned to share details of the finished book with everyone I know, but being able to do so in the form of a Penguin title is going to make it more likely that it'll get read. I love that publishers' response to the US situation is to find and publish titles that explain it and offer an alternative. Feels deliciously subversive to me at a time when so many are feeling helpless...xx
